Field work for the new Carex project
This field season many members of our working group joined their strengths in field work for the new GAČR project focused on the ecology and inter- and intra-specific differences within Carex genus. We visited multiple localities across South Bohemia where we did relevés and measured functional characteristics of plants. By this activity, we want to cover the localities of as many species possible from the Carexgenus. We include various species with different level of phylogenetic relatedness and different ecological demands.
