The big pilot experiment finished
This year we conducted a big green house experiment of 320 pots. Four species of genus Carex with different ecological demands, each from four localities were planted under four different combinations of conditions drought/wetness and with/without competition. The experiment lasted for 3 months during which we measured plant sizes and investment into the generative and vegetative reproduction. The experiment was finished by biomass harvest.
