Helča is doing her fieldwork
Helča is currently investigating how vertical and horizontal structure can be quantified in grassland vegetation. She is testing and comparing a range of structural metrics, including fine-scale spatial patterns of species distribution, species height, light interception, and biomass distribution along a productivity gradient. She has conducted this research at almost twenty localities.
