Wilczek & Demaret is reported here for the first time from the Czech Republic. The species was found at two human-affected localities on damp soil banks of fishponds. The specimens are morphologically described and illustrated and the ecological conditions at one of the sites are described in detail and discussed. |
| Váňa J.: Rozdíly mezi polským a českým seznamem mechů, 5–12 Differences between the Polish and Czech check-lists of mosses Abstract: The following article analyzes the nomenclatural and taxonomic differences between the recent Polish and Czech check-lists of mosses. Existing differences are grouped into five categories. The first category summarizes the author citations, which must be corrected in the Czech list (part a) and the Polish catalogue (part b), respectively (the corrections appear in bold). The following three categories list the differences in the generic classification of species, different taxonomic rank used and different names used for nomenclatural reasons. The last category summarizes the newly proposed genera and combinations or resurrected combinations in the Polish check-list that are not in common use. Author’s comments on some of the listed differences are included. |

Abstract: Bryophytes recorded and/or collected during the 11th Spring Bryological and Lichenological Days in Rychlebské hory Mts. are listed. Their number totalled 217 – 43 liverworts and 174 mosses. The most interesting records – Riccardia chamaedryfolia, Hygrohypnum duriusculum, Pohlia melanodon and Plagiopus oederianus are briefly noted. |

| Vondrák J., Palice Z.: Lichenologicky významná lokalita Zábrdská skála v Prachatickém Předšumaví, 22–26 A lichenologically outstanding locality ‘Zábrdská skála’ at the northern foothills of the Bohemian Forest Mts. Abstract: A lichenofloristic account is given for an isolated gneiss rock formation in the Blanice river valley (Šumava Mts./Bohemian Forest foothills, South Bohemia, 49°01’N-13°56’E). Favourable climatic conditions, presence of crystalline limestone inclusions and craggy relief support a rich lichenoflora with both thermophilous and montane elements. The xerothermic community with Caloplaca demissa presumably reaches its altitudinal maximum here within the Czech Republic. On the other hand, the locality is a refuge for montane species like Pleopsidium chlorophanum. The ‘Zábrdská skála’ rock represents the lowermost locality of Phaeophyscia endococcina in the Czech Republic. Specific meso-/microclimatic conditions enable the presence of several subatlantic taxa (e.g. Bacidia viridifarinosa, Melaspilea granitophila etc.). In total, 216 species are reported here, of which three are new country records (Dirina stenhammari, Lecanora reagens and Psoroglaena stigonemoides). |
| Bayerová Š., Halda J., Liška J., Uhlík P.: Rhizocarpon ridescens a Verrucaria ochrostoma – dva nové druhy lišejníků pro Českou republiku, 26–27 Rhizocarpon ridescens and Verrucaria ochrostoma – two new species of the Czech lichen flora Abstract: Rhizocarpon ridescens (Nyl.) Zahlbr. and Verrucaria ochrostoma (Borrer ex Leight.) Trevis. are reported for the first time from the Czech Republic. Both taxa were collected in the Krušné hory Mts (Erzgebirge). Rhizocarpon ridescenswas found on a copper spoil heap at Mt Tisovec and Verrucaria ochrostoma on a calcium-enriched quartzitic rock in the nature reserve Vysoký kámen. Site details, known distribution and diagnostic characters are described. |

The list includes 101 taxa from the meeting plus a few additional species originating from the research of one of the authors. The most remarkable records (Acarospora rugulosa, Baeomyces placophyllus, Caloplaca crenulatella, Cladonia bellidiflora, C. carneola, C. stygia, Miriquidica nigroleprosa, Peltigera neopolydactyla, Pleopsidium chlorophanum, Solorina spongiosa, Stereocaulon alpinum var. alpinum, S. saxatile) are discussed. |
